Hawaiʻi Land & Garden Works creates landscape designs and sculptures through all Hawaiʻi nei.
Nani Hawaiʻi.
We know these lands as sacred gifts, borne of divinity. In this, all of our work seeks to restore, elevate, and celebrate these lands and the natural gifts herein. We feel this is our duty as landscape practitioners who live, work, play, and love here. We always bring the highest standards of material responsibility, land stewardship, and the manifesting of natural beauty to our clients in each and every work. Our work is timeless in beauty, history, and durability; we make generational work mean to endure through the generations, as gifts to the present generations and those of the future. In doing so, we always work primarily with the stone, wood, and plant materials native to these beautiful lands.

_____
Dominic Baitoo Riolo holds a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.S. in Biological Sciences, combining his interests in the arts and sciences with a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University. There, he received a global education on the most beautiful, impactful, and enduring landscapes of human history. His goal is to produce work here in Hawaiʻi nei that rivals that of the immensity of the French Chateau (where he worked upon graduation from Harvard) and the intimacy and meticulousness of the Japanese Zen garden. Ultimately, however, he always looks first to the legacy left by the countless hands and hearts here on these islands, from the stone heaiu foundations to the mala of the ahupuaʻa, in his mission to make the most beautiful, reverent, responsible, and resilient landscapes & sculptures for, by, and of Hawaiʻi.
